Evaluate an implementation partnership.
A core banking implementation connects the institution's operating model, financial data and external systems. Quantum Core's platform principles emphasise configurable workflows, shared data, open interfaces, events and standards. Its functional scope spans client lifecycle, accounts, payments, markets, lending and wealth.
Define the delivery boundaries.
For an implementation firm, the useful starting point is a defined institution scenario and an evidence-based review: what can be configured, what requires integration work and what must be demonstrated before an implementation commitment.
Map the operating model into workflows
Review dynamic states, approvals, segregation of duties and controls, together with configurable products, rules, permissions, languages and reports.
Select a representative client onboarding process and a payment approval process. Document the required roles, decision points and exceptions, then ask for a configuration walkthrough. Inspect how changes to states or approval responsibilities affect the operator experience and traceability. Establish which requirements can be configured by an implementation team and which need vendor engineering. This exercise provides a basis for assigning delivery responsibilities and identifying requirements that need further evidence before entering the proposed scope.
Assess interfaces through a complete transaction
Review API-first interfaces, events and standards across connected payments, investments, portfolios and accounting. Confirm the proposed connectors and the access an implementation partner would receive.
Use a fictional securities purchase to examine the boundaries between an external order source and the recorded cash, position and accounting effects. Request the relevant interface documentation and a walkthrough of the available event flow. Assess identifiers, status transitions, validation responses and exception handling. Confirm how an interrupted or repeated request is handled in the proposed integration. Establish the external connections, environments and vendor support actually available for the project before estimating the work.
Define migration and acceptance evidence
The functional scope includes client and relationship records, accounts and balances, instrument and position data, accounting structures and reports. Use these as evaluation areas and request evidence of available migration tools and the proposed migration method.
Prepare a small representative dataset containing a client, authorised signatories, multi-currency accounts, an open position and corresponding accounting balances. Agree how each item would be mapped and checked in the proposed implementation. Review opening balances, position quantities, valuations and source traceability against the supplied records. Include an incomplete record to assess the proposed exception process. Define reconciliation evidence and ownership of unresolved differences before expanding the exercise.
Agree what the evaluation must prove.
Explore a launch-partner evaluation. An implementation partnership should be discussed explicitly with Quantum Core, including scope, responsibilities, access, support and commercial terms. Confirm current capabilities and distinguish pilot commitments from roadmap items. Contact the team with a representative institution scenario and the evidence your firm needs to assess delivery. Review the institution's deployment environment, security evidence, access controls, support expectations and recovery responsibilities during discovery. Record the requirements to be met and the evidence needed before any production decision.
