Portfolio and wealth management software.
Wealth managers need a coherent view of the client, the investment mandate and the assets behind reported performance. Quantum Core's functional scope brings portfolios, securities trading, accounts, lending and private assets into one platform.
From the mandate to the client report.
Review multi-currency valuation, time- and money-weighted returns, attribution, drift detection and client reporting. An evaluation should connect these capabilities through representative investment workflows, so your team can inspect how source activity becomes a position, a portfolio assessment and a report the client can understand.
Establish the portfolio view and mandate controls
Explore consolidated cash, securities, loans and private assets alongside mandates, strategies, restrictions, benchmarks and portfolio monitoring. Include client relationships and ownership structures in the review.
Begin with a fictional client holding portfolios in two currencies, with a loan and a private investment alongside listed securities. Inspect the relationship between the client, accounts and portfolios. Apply a representative mandate restriction and examine how it is presented during portfolio review and a proposed transaction. Establish the data needed to produce the consolidated view, how valuation dates are handled and how staff distinguish an investment exposure from a financing balance.
Follow an investment from order to position
Review the instrument master, identifiers, markets and quotations; order validation, execution and settlement; and a position book with average cost connected to accounting. The instrument scope includes equities, fixed income, funds and ETFs.
Choose one equity purchase and one fixed-income holding for the walkthrough. Follow the order through its recorded stages into the cash movement, position and accounting entries. For the bond, inspect a coupon or maturity event. Introduce a settlement exception and ask the team to demonstrate the available operational handling. Confirm the actual execution, custody and data connections proposed for your institution; named external integrations should be established during evaluation.
Explain performance and the client report
Examine time- and money-weighted returns, attribution, drift detection, multi-currency valuation and multi-language client reports. Include private-capital commitments, capital calls, distributions and net asset value in the reporting review.
Use a sample reporting period with an opening portfolio, a client cash contribution, a security purchase and a private-capital call. Compare the resulting valuations and returns, and request an explanation of how cash-flow timing and valuation inputs affect the calculations. Review the report in the required languages and reporting currency. Confirm how provisional or unavailable inputs are represented and how staff trace a reported result back to its underlying activity.
Agree what the evaluation must prove.
Explore a launch-partner evaluation. Establish the demonstrable scope of portfolio calculations, reports and asset coverage before defining a pilot. Agree representative input data, expected outputs and acceptance criteria with the Quantum Core team. A focused demonstration can identify current capabilities, configuration needs and roadmap dependencies before a wider implementation discussion.
